another Living Room Concert!

great big THANK YOU to Carole Garrett who hosted a Living Room Concert last night in Duck and to all who joined us.  Carole won the concert at a silent auction in Feb this year at the annual Paws for Love Benefit helping our fury 4 legged friends at Feline Hope.    Thank you to all who donate their time and funds to Feline Hope.  The organization has made great strides over the last 10 years in decreasing the stray cat population in the Outer Banks, finding homes for many cats and caring for medical issues of many strays.  Keep up the great work Lita, Lisa & team!

I still have openings for Living Room Concerts - email or call me if you're interested!

If you had been at last night's Christian Music Night

...you would have been amazed at the variety/diversity of our program - prayer through music took on a new meaning - WOW!  Ashley Elder, visiting from Virginia, sang 2 contemporary tunes with tracks on her ipod - nicely done Ashley!  Thank you for taking time from your vacation to share your gift with our community!
Pastor Steve Smith, a professional music veteran from Manteo's First Assembly of God, dazzled us with his originals, classics & blues-style guitar playing - not to mention his humorous lyric and story telling - thank you Pastor Steve for sharing with us!  MMOV - Matt, Nick & Robert - these guys are good!  Great lyric & grooves - & they are in shape - true instruments!  Audience was standing & waving for Jesus!!!  Thank you guys for the work out!
All musicians donate their God given talents and time back to their community to raise funds by love donations
that go to ICO (Interfaith Community Outreach) ministry and our Beach Food Pantry.
Next Monday July 23 Corrisa Snyder & friends and Joyful Noise (KHMC) will be joining us - don't miss it!
